Should I always read the labels on food items? Do manufacturer promises indeed guarantee that a product is safe? What products are safe for a baby? Is everything in the big-box baby shop really safe for children? Is it possible that hazardous substances are snuck into infant care products? Should I buy baby care products online?

You may be feeling a little overwhelmed with the millions of baby items on the market and a lot of good and terrible advice from well-meaning friends. It’s understandable. That’s why, before buying anything, do your homework, find out the facts for yourself, and don’t allow a product’s packaging to be the sole factor in your choice.

In this blog post, I’ve debunked 5 myths regarding baby care products.

Myth-1: A daily bath keeps germs at bay.

Truth: As parents, we make it a habit to wash the infant every day, just as we do as adults. According to a study, the infant does not need to be bathed every day. It’s also OK to wash the face and nappy region with water or a wet towel. Especially if the infant isn’t feeling well. The hair of a baby should only be washed once or twice a week. Choose a cleanser made with natural chemicals that is gentle on your baby’s skin.

Myth-2: All of the baby soaps are of excellent quality.

Truth: We are taught as parents that all infant skincare products are safe. However, when you look at the contents, you’ll see that most of the items include chemicals, with water being the sole natural component. Look for natural ingredients like aloe Vera or neem when buying infant soaps or shampoos. Don’t try to save money on this. Only use the best baby care products when it comes to your baby’s skincare.

Myth-3: Rashes are caused by the diaper.

Truth: During a child’s first few years, you’ll probably change 6000 diapers. Constant exposure to pee and faeces, as well as friction from diapers, may irritate a baby’s sensitive bottom. Diapers do not cause rashes in and of themselves; nevertheless, not changing diapers as soon as they get wet and not using properly fitted diapers will result in rashes. To prevent such rashes, use a gently designed diaper rash lotion.

Myth-4: For infant skin, rubbing scrubs is beneficial to prevent lanugo.

Truth: Lanugo is your child’s first hair to develop on their body. It serves a variety of purposes when your kid is still in the womb. As the baby reaches term, it starts to fall off. To get rid of lanugo in your baby, you don’t need to do anything special. It will come off naturally in the first several weeks when infants lose their skin. You may give yourself a light massage but avoid using hair removers or scrubs.

Myth-5: Organic goods are excellent for babies.

Truth: Organic products have swept the globe. Aside from being more costly due to the “Organic” label, there is no convincing scientific proof that organic goods are healthy. That’s why, before buying anything organic, look for the best baby care products review online to make sure it’s good.

Look for infant products that include chamomile extract, Vitamin B5 and Vitamin E, Beeswax, Sunflower oil, Soya Oil, Almond Oil, Shea butter, or Glycerine, rather than Glycerine simply organic goods. Also, choose a product that is devoid of PAMAS (Paraben, Animal & Mineral Oil, and Soap) to guarantee that it is gentle on your child’s skin.

    Final Words

At the end of the day, you, as a mother/parent, must make the decisions for your child. If you can’t distinguish between myths and truths and can’t find any trusted baby care products near me, shop from Elite Baby Trends to buy the highest quality baby care products.
